Tower of the Faceless Clock

A system-neutral fantasy roleplaying game solitaire adventure.

You wake in the dawn twilight, the clouds to the east pink with imminent sunrise. A hard stone slab serves as your bed. You raise your head and survey your surroundings. Rugged scrub lands spread as far as the eye can see; in places mounds of stone blocks emerge from the low, twisted trees and bushes. Not too far off you see a massive ruin. One tower slouches in its own rubble while the other stands tall. You have no idea where you are....

Tower of the Faceless Clock serves as an introduction for low-level characters to the Infinite Cathedral medieval fantasy setting. The programmed solo adventure format provides information about your character’s situation followed by choices or, in some cases, a test of your character’s abilities; these direct you to corresponding numbered entries.

You can use this solo adventure with your favorite fantasy roleplaying game system; the Any OSR Key at the back of this adventure offers guidance interpreting creature descriptions into game stats.
